I don't really care what the Start menu looks like as long as its functional, which is just as well as I'm always moving round between Operating Systems. But the Start menu in Windows 10 is starting to piss me off, it takes so long to get to the things I want. On my laptop I've switched to the Windows 8.x/Tablet style start page as I find it quicker to get to what I'm after.
Shrink your ego to match the worth of your opinion. Learn punctuation while you are at it. Many people like "the same old s**t" because it was functional and met their needs in a concise way. Classic Shell gives users great control of the type of start menu they want. Seems to me that Microsoft could do the same. You think?
MS is running a couple of rings now: The fast and the slow one which can be adjusted in System Settings and a more sophisticated style called the optimistic and the pessimistic ring. Latter ones cannot be adjusted by any means and mostly disappoint individuals or catch them by surprise
You'll know as soon as the techs here at MDL know, assuming they are clean and sober at the time... Ya' beat me PD....WTG!
I wish Microsoft would just make start menu options, where you can pick themes colours, size and styles. Even also a option to export the start menu settings, like windows desktop themes to use on another computer. Now that would be cool!!!
Both are already possible in Windows 8 and am pretty sure will continue in Windows 10. Theme colours, size and styles come from synced themes. All you need is to log into your Microsoft Account. You can even export your start menu layout using powershell to create an xml config file, which you can use on another computer.
