Never changed anything, it was installed as en-us to begin with. This is happening on every 9926 machine I've tried it on, three so far. Somebody who has seen the "we need to update the store" thing and had it succeed, click the gear and tell me what version you have now. I have one machine this isn't happening to, 32-bit, was never logged on with a MS account if that makes any difference, its store (beta) is 2015.2.5.1 and I am not sure if this is the initial version that came with 9926 and is broken, or the newest one, because it's not prompting me to update the store.

That rumor is incorrect, 10020 is too old and has nothing changed over 9926 being that 10022 has no real changes either. The build will likely be released next week now and be 10029 if I had to guess.
