Thanks for the insight! I could not figure out why itunes no longer launched. I rolled back the AMD driver as you suggested and now itunes is working again.
So is this free upgrade a download overwrite? or is it a clean reinstall numerous times? or something that overwrites your current install and is a one time only? If it is the latter it is of really no use ... correct? Does if overwrite daz? Regards
Partners got 10022 last wednesday, would be beyond stupid for MS to give "insiders" an older build. Not much has changed since 9926 and those builds are buggy. I put insiders in quotes because you and I both know that the program has become nothing more than a marketing stunt at this point. It started out great with frequent drops but now it's a joke.
They call us insiders but actually we are regular home users, not programmers, since the Insider program is for accessible everyone. It would be stupid of Microsoft to publish builds with every single little change to us. They don't want us to play with very buggy builds but only with the most stable ones. Like the leaked builds 9901 had serious issues , apps didn't work correctly, had the explorer bug. Microsoft knows manyof the insiders use Windows 10 as main OS such as myself, and I think they don't want to give us builds like Longhorn 4074,5048 and such. I too rather get a stable build than one in an early alpha stage that can't even to boot up properly.
Probably wont be any until its out. What he is showing you is from the Windows vNext site. You'll have to google it as I can't post links lol.
Maybe we will get a new build after the MWC event on Monday...if it's only bug fixes & some new icons, then there isn't much to get excited about this new build
