A little while ago, the updates for arm64 were released in the retail channel, today the x64 updates too, so won't be that long anymore.
not a big deal to me, 26100 base build isn't that great right now anyway, so I'm happy with my 28000, will upgrade in 2027 then p.s. the title of this thread could be updated now since it's out for both arm64/amd64
so, I just reinstalled it using the new installer (DotNet35Setup_1.0.3322.137.exe), and it didn't complain, idk I hope I'm updated now
is that true ? Key Points about Windows 11, version 26H1 Scope of release: It’s only available on new devices launching in early 2026, specifically those with Qualcomm Snapdragon® X2 Series processors. It is not offered as an in-place upgrade for existing devices running versions 24H2 or 25H2. so no feature update new than version of 25h2 ? or what? any one try it ? what is the new ?
So for a new install on e.g. a regular AMD AM5 CPU, we install "en-us_windows_11_consumer_editions_version_26h1_x64_dvd_5208fe5b.iso" and similar right? Not 25h2 as usual?
Today I have done a clean install of Win11 Build 28000.1575 onto my Lenovo ThinkPad notebook. Everything seems to be fine. Remarks: 1. No watermark 2. Although having run the 3 Registry commands, the Native NVMe Support doesn't work with the on-board NVMe SSD (512 GB SAMSUNG MZAL4512).
