26h1 by default, even being an admin, it doesn't allow running anything as admin. The solution is to run this . and the problem is solved. One question remains: is fullscreen optimization still linked by default, or not anymore? Code: REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System" /v EnableLUA /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore] "GameDVR_FSEBehaviorMode"=dword:00000002 "GameDVR_FSEBehavior"=dword:00000002 "GameDVR_HonorUserFSEBehaviorMode"=dword:00000001
i am used both 25H2 and 26H1 on Dell precision core i7 6th Generation Ram 32 and vga Nvidia the 25H2 is more stable, faster and smoother than 26H2
What insider download? 26H1 is MVS released = retail and the updates are retail channel too. And it is not even related to 26200 28000 is based on an entirely different core buiild.
And the rest is the same version as 25h2, for example wddm, still 3.2, it didn't change to 3.3? Didn't refs also get a new version in 26h1?
I can't be the only one who switched from 26xxx to 28000 on their x64 PC because of the increased stability, right? Also it looks like 26H1 will have a much longer support cycle. (Because Snapdragon X2 PCs will switch straight to 27H2 next year.) Off-topic: The MDL classic Skeuomorphic theme is a breath of fresh air. Feels like the early 2000s again.
Not can but will It's an ongoing process, but the 26H1 base is released on MVS and the updates are public for those who run 26H1 too.
I am extremely pleased with 28000 + latest RP CU build as of today. I am seriously considering updating other systems to it as well. The only concern is that Microslop mentioned 28000 build having kernel CPU scheduler optimisations for Snapdragon X2 SOCs and will that negatively affect my Ryzen 9800 X3D based systems. Ahh well… we shall see. So far so good in all the games I play.
