    26h1 is a better experience than 25h2.

    consider anything going into 26h2 to be a half arsed backport.

    It is better but you know what is better than this? Server 29558, this OS is simply freaking fast and reminds me of how Win2k and maybe Win7 used to feel like. The new nvme system combined with the new ReFS filesystem (yes it's bootable now!) is something else. It's really, really nice!

    Guys, sorry, I'm new to Windows 11. I used Windows 10 for almost 10 years. I bought a new i7 laptop for my daughter’s school, but it does not come with an OS. I was planning to install Linux, but she needs some software that only runs on Windows. At the same time, I do not want a bloated Windows 11 setup full of AI features and unnecessary user restrictions. Do you have any recommendations on how to build a custom ISO, and which version of Windows would be the best choice?

    Server os's cannot fully substitute a consumer version if gaming is the intention.

    there is an unbypassable difference in what drivers are installable, xbox one+ for instance are not included in the base image and are not installable within the server versions.
