Has anyone lost there activation after doing this update. I did the update, then did a hardware upgrade and windows lost activation. I went to my Microsoft account where my linked digital license is and they are all gone for all my systems.
I got it activated with my Pro for Workstation key but on my MS account there is still no other systems on there under devices. So if any of the systems go missing I can't find them or see it.
For those who've installed & using this 26H1 (28000.x) Is the new START enabled by default from the first boot or not, have to use vivetool for that? I installed the 28000.1 in VM, and no new START here.
they said a long time ago that Canary is about platform changes and that new features are released on the Dev channel (26200) first, so don't expect anything new here it might be available when it's ready for a backport
Depends on if MS wants you to test the new start menu or not, but I have the new start menu without enabling it from Vivetool. You might get it if you enroll in the Canary Channel, but no guarantees. Currently running build 28000.1199.
Neither, I have been in the Canary channel for awhile now. So I upgraded from build 27982 to 28000, then installed the first LCU that was released a couple of weeks ago.
I am having problems running the UUP-dump. It starts fin then gives me an error and say no files to download. I am using FireFox
