I have the same issue, DISM restore health runs successfully, but SFC reports fixes again, and again.
seems like you cant upgrade from .1876 to .1882 it forces you to delete everything.....this is garbage
Never mind it seems if you try to upgrade offline the only option it gives you is NOTHING.....go figure
People should not pay to much attention to all the "information" spreaded, we already have 24H2 for quite some time and the latest we also already have for some time now, not seeing the same results as claimed here...!!!.
We provided 24hr working links for the consumer techbench ISOs. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1854270 And here are the 10hr working Business links: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1854316
If I already have the iso image of version 24h2, it is not necessary to apply the .1742 update again, correct? I only have to install the .1882 in W10UI?
As long as you don't enable a fod the latest update is enough. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1854157 here i enabled ,NETFX35 and all worked.
Got it, thanks 1) Control Panel > Programs and Features 2) Uncheck the following: a) Hyper-V b) Virtual Machine Platform b) Windows Hypervisor Platform 3) Run command prompt as Admin Type: bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off Restart Also: Spoiler: Disable virtualization-based security If you used Group Policy, disable the Group Policy setting that you used to enable Windows Defender Credential Guard (Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Device Guard -> Turn on Virtualization Based Security). Delete the following registry settings: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA\LsaCfgFlags HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceGuard\LsaCfgFlags If you also wish to disable virtualization-based security delete the following registry settings: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceGuard\EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceGuard\RequirePlatformSecurityFeatures If you manually remove these registry settings, make sure to delete them all. If you don't remove them all, the device might go into BitLocker recovery. Delete the Windows Defender Credential Guard EFI variables by using bcdedit. From an elevated command prompt, type the following commands: mountvol X: /s copy %WINDIR%\System32\SecConfig.efi X:\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\SecConfig.efi /Y bcdedit /create {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215} /d "DebugTool" /application osloader bcdedit /set {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215} path "\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\SecConfig.efi" bcdedit /set {bootmgr} bootsequence {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215} bcdedit /set {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215} loadoptions DISABLE-LSA-ISO bcdedit /set {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215} device partition=X: mountvol X: /d
it's enough to disable virtualization in the bootloader, in fact I have WSL / WSA installed (with Virtual Machine Platform) and two boot entries, with and without hyper-v but yeah, you can disable everything if you don't need it at all
Cleanup seems fixed with 26100.1882 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1854157 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1854160 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1854163 It ran fine on these tests.
I tried to update win 23H2 from iso , keep all english version after restart I get I guess I need to wait for release of the update files only....
