Approx. 20min on my i7 11700 / 64GB ram, no defender. Example run: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1857536 UUP dump is fine to get yourself a xxxxx.1 ISO and next use W10UI for the monthly updating of a copy, will save a lot of time. That, and i use it for Insider Preview testing stuff.
It depends on computer hardware And also internet speed So I have latest i13 I think And 2.5g fiber connection So it take very fast I even tried on my new laptop Take a little time with 600 mb wireless connection
What does internet speed have to do with the progress of offline updating an ISO (the actual subject of the current discussion)?
i was talking about uup dump in this context Code: Why would you use 3rd party tools instead of just using the official install/update tool or ISO from Microsoft after i liked a post

Did some clean-up. Please stay on topic. @Windows 10 User Post the exact error message and/or share a screenshot of the same so that we can diagnose the issue.
If so, then kindly refrain from posting about the incident any further. You essentially solved your issue by choosing an alternate path, period. No point to drag it more.
You didn't remove the post where @Enthousiast mentioned me at the time and why din't I have the right to answer it? Why does 24H2 take a lot more time to install than 23H2?
I don't know but I thought one of the purposes of the new versions was to install Windows faster than previous ones. Also, some of the options and text in general of the installer of the first publicly 24H2 Build release when doing a clean install are in english and not in my language but the most recently 24H2 Build release already has all of the options in my language (some of the text is still in english, though). It's ridiculous Windows still has translation issues (since Windows 10, at least). EDIT: Now CTRL+A doesn't select all the items inside a folder but CTRL+T. Why did Microsoft change this?
Please read.... microsoft 24h2 have a lots of bugs atm... if you need rock stable windows 11 use 23h2 ( enterprise edition or education , leave pro sku ... )
I read what you said. I just find it odd Microsoft publicly released it in such a state. Also, the slowness might not be a bug and I also had many bugs with 23H2.
