@SM03 However, I also wrote in another post that this folder apparently only (?) appears during an update and not after a Fresh Install.... . And I have also not activated IIS. Both installations, Windows 10 and Windows 11, were in the RP Channel at the time and have been running for about 6 months without reinstallation. These are my own personal experiences and may, in part, differ from the experiences of other users. (Although I must also say that I know of a number of other cases with the same experiences).
I have the inetpub folder, not sure if i broke it by marking it as hidden though lol Its got more than just system privilege security? It doesn't show up as a directory? is that the intended outcome? Ok never mind, i unhid it
It is created with special permissions for the security update on all Windows with April 2025 Patch Tuesday. Spoiler: Windows 8.1 PT Spoiler: Translated by Google to English My two cents. Thank you.
@Clusterhead You're probably referring to this post of yours where you wrote that. Though, that was not a direct reply to me or my post, but still, I've read that anyway. But what you missed that, I also wrote in my earlier post here that I first clean installed 26100.3775 & then from 26100.3775 upgraded to 26100.3915 via Windows update and still the 'inetpub' is missing on my C drive(s) Therefore, I posted the same here to ask/know about others' opinions & experience on this.
