I saw that update in a Win10 v22H2 Laptop, but in Win11 v24H2 I didn't received that update. That's strange.

 

Can please list it's name in winget. Anyway, it seems to be related to DevHome app, which I always uninstall, so I have reinstalled it.

 

well they officially broke devhome for me, no older package to install, this one doesn't work

I have updated my Windows 11 to 26100.4061.

This month's updates show these two:

Update #1: 26100.1742.1.10
Update #2: 26100.4061.1.18

Which of the two do I get?

EDIT: OK, I'm stupid. I neglected to mention that I want an up-to-date backup installation media and would need to slipstream either update MSU to it. Now, my Windows 11 installation media is pre-4061, meaning that it's right before the 4061 update to clarify, even though my current live Windows 11 is recently updated to 4061.

Now, the revised question of choosing an update is, do I pick one and disregard the other, or do I just use all two? If the answer to that is the former, the first one, which update do I choose?

You need both LCUs, 1742 is a checkpoint update which you install first. And then install the latest LCU update 4061. After that just install the latest update when MS releases them.

 

Very strange problem just occurred in 24h2 beta, no cmdlets would work, ie, powershell, sfc, cmd etc etc
i refreshed the variables and rebooted a few times and it was fixed

Find a way to restore the lost PDF Printer

1. First obtain 26100.3775 prnms009.inf_amd64_5555b7fbfa8487e2
2. Run prnms009.inf installation on the new system
3. Disabling Microsoft Print To PDF feature
4. Stopping the Print Spooler service
5. Enabling Microsoft Print To PDF feature
6. Starting the Print Spooler service

The above actions can rebuild this PDF Printer

 

It seems that "SetupComplete.cmd" is not executed in "26200.5603".
