This happens to me too, stuck on Searching for updates on Edge v137 stable, it's related to the new design of the settings page (a bug)
After three resets, I was able to get it working. First, there was a broken Windows 11 23h2 installation. I reset it, and 23h2 installed up to the latest update. Then I installed 24h2 with the Microsoft ARM64 ISO (because it wasn't showing up via Windows Update). Performance improved significantly with 24h2 (on ARM64). Now I finished resetting it again with 24h2 installed on the system, and no trace of previous systems. This way, I have it as clean as possible. It took me all day. Every reset and feature update could last up to one or two hours. Edit: not booted with the ARM64 ISO, I mounted it and ran setup.exe
You see, dear friend??? Some days ago I wrote about this: Microsoft will never change. And then people have hope about "Windows 12"...
This update should not be offered on WU or not be called Out Of Band, but it is offered as optional update on WU (like normally the Preview on catalog updates are offered).
It's important to do this because the other one is problematic, but I don't like doing optional updates, but there is some problem in yesterday's update, although successful, but I don't remember Microsoft releasing another one so quickly with a fix?
The last month(s) it is OOB update after OOB update, they are going crazy with this, making a big mess of the updates.
