those on.4482 firewall error problem The ucrtbase.dll is part of Visual C++ and Visual Studio. I tried simply uninstalling and reinstalling Visual C++ to no avail. so I decided to look at the service webthreatdefusersvc in services.msc. I tried simply stopping it and starting it. It did not produce the error. I then tried to disable it but it gave me a "parameter is incorrect" error. So I decided to search the registry for it. I then changed the value of "Start" from 2 (enabled) to 4 (disabled). I then restarted and the error did not come back in reliability monitor. It's still happening in event viewer though.
Microsoft managed to break the Windows Firewall in all three insider channels that is impressive. It is confirmed to be busted in RP, Dev and I just confirmed Beta also. I would stay the hell away from any of these builds if you value your security at all as running a PC in 2025 with no firewall is a recipe for disaster.
Let me add something to your great advice: If you can and don't need any Windows-exclusive apps (like FU€K1NG Autodesk or Adobe), stay the hell away from Windows and go to Linux. Like Ubuntu (or Mint, Zorin), Fedora (for advanced users) or OpenSUSE TW (for expert users).

And still english is the language here... not depending on badly browser translations. Also using colored txt is not advised, which is hardly readable on dark themes.
Enthousiast I apologize for that; just copied and pasted the previous post as it was. But I believe that simple phrases can be easily translated by a browser.
Would like to, an old UNIX government user, but I have lots of windows games, including Flight Sim 2024, gotta use Windows, been using Windows since 3.1back in 1984. Never had a problem using it.
I wrote messages in the Chat some minutes ago... I recommended a member to stay in Windows 10, if he needs to (because of apps or games), but after 2028 (when ESU ends, and maybe LTSC 2021 updates won't work for v22H2). Maybe the only solution would be to migrate to another OS. People! Just see what's happening! ... It's been almost 04 years since Win11 RTM release, and the system is a complete disappointment. The latest (Release Preview, like a RC) update damaged the Windows Firewall (leaving the system very unsafe), while the latest "Stable" update fixed 66 vulnerabilities that were open since months. Microsoft gives a Fu€k about Windows. Even if they say "beautiful words", their actions show totally the opposite.
