I never have secure boot enabled, actually i mostly install legacy bios, i guess this is only for company usage
I agree that Secure Boot is a useless feature, but dear friend, why do you install Windows in Legacy/CSM/BIOS (MBR) instead of UEFI (GPT) ???
Mainly windows 10 installs, with legacy bios installs windows 11 will never install by themselves Atm, still not running 24H2 or any win 11 for that matter, on my main systems
Ahh, good idea !!! Well, since April 2025, I'm using v24H2 and I will return soon to Win10 v22H2. And yeah, I will use FreeCAD instead of any Fu€k1ng Autodesk products (that doesn't want to support Win10 after October 2025).
You don't, but you can try disable it with vivetool if its not already integrated Message phantomofearth on twitter, be polite and ask him for the id
Try this Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\current\device\Start] "HideRecommendedSection"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\current\device\Education] "IsEducationEnvironment"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer] "HideRecommendedSection"=dword:00000001
Anyone able to install standalone msixbundles and appx packages in dev and beta?, double clicking the package just fails, i wanted to try the new pasword manager Do i need to run a repair upgrade or is it same for other ppl?
I installed Windows 11 in "UEFI/GPT" and never changed anything for Secure Boot (I don't even remember if it was activated in the bios)
