Why does it feel like every couple of years there is windows release that breaks network shares (over samba) at release... This is one of those versions, and then it takes month to fix....
Yeah, I reported this since 26100.1 UI animations are worse/stuttery compared to 23H2 even on my super high-end gaming desktop with an RTX 4080 along with very good laptops with Intel Iris Xe. Reverted to 23H2 and everything was perfect/smooth again on all. Probably drivers still need to be properly updated for 24H2?
Hello Links for ISO 26100.560 no longer work On UUP, are they the same? Thanks EDIT : Found on MS website
Appears to perform better at 712 Release Preview version. At least, I notice it as 23H2. My machine is an old intel I5 with standard Intel Graphics.
I'll try 712 version on VHDX today (clean install), UI slowness is killing me every day also I noticed some animations were disabled after my upgrade, so I switched appearance settings a few times in the old control panel and got all animations back, and.. it got so worse, UI stutters every 10 seconds now on everything, ended up disabling shadows, I use dark mode anyway upd: animations are disabled again lol, seems like msft disables it for me
hopefully microsoft will make improvements in 25h2 and the perfomance will be as good as in 22h2 so just stay tuned everyone
im on 22h2 not even one issue for a year. been thinking about 24h2 as its tempting really but then im thinking is it worth to sacrifice another many hours to make 24h2 actually work ? i dont think so esp because microsoft havent added in 24h2 anything usefull for me, coopilot pffff
It is disabled due to accessibility settings --> visual effects and not from the sysdm.cpl setting. I found this exact problem when seting up W11 23h2 education using dism /apply-image... Yes, it is a very specific bug.
I used Windows11_InsiderPreview_Client_x64_de-de_26100 aka 26100.560 aka Enthousiast's favorite build to make me stay up for too long, and updated to 26100.712 after installation. No issues on my desktop (NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti, driver 555.85) and on my laptop (Intel Iris Xe, driver 31.0.101.4502). Can't confirm any of these.
