Nothing, Task View and many other OS animations are still sluggish as hell on 26100.560 (no Insider Enrollment) Going back to 23H2 again and this time until it will expire its official support...
Just installed and while performance is improved a bit, Task View opening animations are still a terrible/stuttering mess... Don't get me wrong: the OS is still very fast in opening things, maybe even faster than 23H2, but animations' smoothness tanked for some reason...
Am I the only one facing the problem of activating the OS? On 24H2 I have another HWID and error with automatic activation, today returned to 23H2 and everything's alright.
What CPU spikes are you guys talking about with this build? It seems to run the same or better than 23H2. Been using it now for two days.
That's not what I asked, I don't want the old context menu. I want to disable text labels because they don't fit in my locale.
I just tested the RP build (Pro Edition this time, just to make sure everything is simple) on VHDX and the UI stutters the same way so whether it was a clean install or an in-place upgrade, something is really wrong with the UI this is on a 4k 144 Hz display without VRR, RTX 2060 and i7-3770k some people have the same problem on modern hardware, so it doesn't seem to matter I tried switching to 120 Hz and it helped a lot, but the stuttering is still there, I can feel it in the same pattern: shake a window, quickly shake another window and you get the stuttering for the first half second
You are using a 12 year old CPU and complaining about stutter? Can’t imagine why it is stuttering for you.
minie works fine The Intel Core i7-2760QM was a mobile processor with 4 cores, launched in September 2011.
