so I updated my main system and somehow UI became extremely responsible enabled animations + transparency effects to check huge UI stutters but seems like it's all gone now task view app still stutters but overall it's fine now the animation of the settings app is less than usual when you drag its window
No offense but people should really understand that the official Windows Insider blog posts should always be the first source of information, and then you can come here for additional questions/details/images etc. Watermarks do not show up on major builds that are meant for retail deployment, and it was communited for the past 2.5 months:
FYI, I resolved my issue with NVidia drivers setting refresh rate to 60Hz after each display setting change and on startup in build 26100. The fix was to keep Display Policy Service enabled, which I typically disabled for previous builds as it didn't provide any features I needed.
That seems like an issue due to your ancient hardware being used. Did not happen to me. This build is smooth.
Task View animations are still a stutter fest... All the other animations are improved but still worse than 23H2 for now.
So this new build still has two visual bugs. One is with the settings app power options. When you switch to a high performance power plan it still keeps the balanced power plan power mode drop down active but it is blank. Second is under startup in the settings app. The icons are zoomed in when using display scaling other than 100%.
PATCH TUESDAY A THING OF THE PAST????? Well with yet another update to the retail version of 24H2 a trend has developed. Correct me if i am wrong, but all retail updates for 24H2 have occurred on the weekend. Are we looking at something like patch Saturday for 24H2
