Edit/ downloaded the msu from @Enthousiast post and it also gives the same error Install error - 0x80073713 trying restore health now, but earlier today i was getting an error about the source. i'm on 26100.712 edit2/ i now resotred health, mounted wim file, and dism restore, i still get an error can't figure out what to do
Also in add remove programs icons of some software was missing for me and some icons were zoomed in. There is also a bug which exist since January I think which is not fixed yet and happens on several Windows 11 versions, when a xinput gamepad controller is connected to the PC it will show an explorer.exe error during reboot or shutdown. Annoying that it takes them so long time to fix a bug.
ACM clamps color gamut to sRGB, so if you are used to oversaturated colors due to DCI-P3, then yes, colors would look bad to you.
No it makes the colors on certain ui objects messed up nothing to do with the clamp just makes colors inacurate. It is not an accurate srgb clamp like as if it was on the monitor side.
So does latest update work on non copilot devices I had 24h installed when it was first released but went back to 23h. Now windows insider page in settings reports newer build but doesn't show up in Windows update. Can I just build the iso and update to the newest update?
Well I have one of those computers (no four of them) and all of them updated fine on the retail version. I would recommend just downloading the basic 26100.1 iso from where-ever is safe, apply "The Fix", install and let windows update naturally.
I started with 26100.2 and have utterly no problems with updates. Highly recommend doing this, however 26100.1, I see no reason this would also be a good jumping in point.
If anyone wanna add the latest LCU KB into the base build, then I see no point in using the 26100.2 over 26100.1, unless you/anyone already have or downloaded the 26100.2 earlier people are saying that the latest build does not adding all or most of the UWP apps, so having 26100.1 base build UUP files (where UWP apps are present) + adding the latest LCU KB5039239 (DesktopDeployment,.cab + SSU-26100.840-x64.cab +Windows11.0-KB5039239-x64.cab/msu/psf) is the best way to get the latest 24H2 ISO.
well i downloaded and installed the new OEM version 26100.3 during OOBE it updated itself to 830 (KB5039239)
They are the same as on beta 22635 beta so I doubt it. Also despite ACM using EDID to clamp it looks like ass versus using my monitors srgb clamp which works correctly. Another s**t windows feature.
