I did set those options, but don't think they did anything. I will repeat the process later today and will save the logs. Thanks again for the info.
you are completely wrong, check this post https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1846116 it works with checkpoint updates only, which wasn't released yet on Retail / RP channels, but it's available on the Dev channel in short, you should have checkpoint packages as staged and current packages as installed everything else prior to the latest checkpoint update will be removed correctly It will when checkpoint updates are released
I don't understand what do you mean Resetbase is working correctly, you should have two versions of packages in your wim file

just installed windows 11 education 24h2 (26100.1457). any solutions to a slow file explorer? or should i just go back to windows 10 iot ltsc. i know of the f11x2 bug, but looking for permanent solution. thanks!
The whole shell is too slow, if you can't deal with it just get back to the Windows 10 You could try to disable animations, it's disabled on my systems for the same reason
I do select "cleanup+resetbase" but these two steps just seem to be skipped on my system. I have now tested this in W11LTSC2024 as host system as well (used LTSC21 before). I will try to study the w10ui code to see why that happens.
Thank you very much for taking the time to make that excellent write up. I downloaded all the files you mentioned, have to do some other chores first but will be back to test, I'm sure I will get it to work this time.
I wrote exactly that, I'm not stupid nope, this is bs you can choose index in W10UI my ISO has all 3 editions, and your comment is useless
After updating to the latest LCU v1457 in 24H2, in two of my systems, the Windows search service was disabled automatically Is this a new bug in this build? anyone else faced this same?
