Thanks Abbodi for responding, Yes, I had "Include updates" checked, in "uupdump.net", and no, I did not encounter errors during the process. However, if I choose "Download and convert to ISO" option, I get an ISO with the updates included! Using the script from "uup.rg-adguard.net" to download UUP's and convert them using your script always worked for me, But Adguard does not have 26100 with updates only 26100.1. So, I downloaded the 26100.1 script and changed to 26100.1591 and currently testing. I will update the post with the results. Update 1: it did not work, I still got 26100.1. I am now testing 26120.1542 to see what I get? Update 2: Having used the 26120.1542 script from Adguard, I got 26100.1 ISO!!?? Probably time I went to sleep? or I will test a different image.. Update 3: I downloaded UUP's for 22635.4082 and got an ISO for 22635.1 At this stage, I think abbodi1406 needs to investigate this.
You'll need to use a modern version of Windows such as Windows 10, version 2004 or 20h2 or windows 11 to create an ISO image of this build. Other platforms won't work.
I downloaded 22635.4082 UUP's and used "uup-converter-wimlib-107f" to create the ISO. The ISO created is: 22621.1.220506-1250.NI_RELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO. Obviously, something is wrong. Using the automated process within UUP Dump or Adguard create ISOs with the correct updates.
First of all, don't use adguard's stuff at all, all you need is UUP dump (uupdump.net) Post your config file and uup-converter log if you want real help
Using uup-converter-wimlib as-is without modifying ConvertConfig.ini (or manually change options from menu) will always result in base ISO without updates
Thanks Abbodi, it looks like the problem was behind the keyboard; where RTFM skills were in short supply!!
Guys, I need some help here. I access 5 of my work PCs using Remote Desktop app on Windows 11. All PCs are on 24H2. I access using simple Tailscale IPs to access my PCs. No cloud / azure / teams / 365 bulls**t. But since updating to 24H2, it sometimes just connects and freezes at the login screen 2/3 times. I have to disconnect and reconnect again. I have also noticed that the Remote Desktop App on Windows store hasn't been updated for more than a year. Has the app been superseeded by something else?
