By disabling the Recall feature in ISO 26100.1742 (no other versions and updating 1742 with WU), the explorer is the one of Windows 10 and not the one of W11 with tabs By disabling Recall under Windows, no problem
As I said earlier, even after disabling Copilot+Recall, I've the FE with TAB features, no problem here How exactly did you disable the Recall in the WIM?
With DISM /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:recall in mounted image No problem if disabling Copilot+recall option
Man, so close to public release and still full of old bugs, such as: 1. Transparency effect randomly stopped working. 2. MPO being randomly disabled for no reason. 3. Metro Redux incorrectly detecting screen ratio.
The security updates (that are releasing October 8th) and ISOs (that are always based on security update-builds) more recently contained 1, 2 sometimes 3 additional bug fixes, but yeah it's pretty much what we have today functionality wise.
Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070306 Successfully installed after a sfc scan. No 'corrupted' files were found, except for some svg files modified by AccentColorizer-E11.
I think the official 24H2 release (or GA) will be .1876 + late minute bugfixes + new security patch of October 8th, all integrated in current 26100 RP ISO. So something like .1900 or higher.
The KB5043178 does not assume 26100.1 as before, but 26100.1742 as a basis. The solution in this case is not only to install the last update from the update catalog, but the update with the last checkpoint. So currently the KB5043080 + the KBxxxxxx, which appears afterwards. The updates must then also be installed in the order.
26100.1742 + KB5043178 (26100.1876) is the same thing than 26100.1 + KB5043178 (26100.1876) Same result at the end
this scenario is not possible, you can't integrate 1876 without 1742 1742 is checkpoint update not really, you should put all LCU MSU to any folder and install only the latest LCU with dism, this way it will not install checkpoint updates
Oh yeah, I was thinking of a "classic LCU", not a "delta" The LCU is checkpoint update for 1876 and next LCU for future "delta" I guess I never use "delta", just LCU and build .1
