Actually there is nothing lost, at the moment there is no real difference between 25H2 and 26H2, nothing new was activated, maybe now with the new Preview updates it will become available soon.
This morning WU gave me the Windows 11, version 26H2 update (from 25H2). Don't know if it's a GA thing.
The content, one has Home but no Enterprise the other has no home but has Enteroprise, the one with enterprise is vl, the one with home is retail/oem. Check the content here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1925343
I also think consumer lacks BitLocker., which is a good thing Correct me if I'm wrong. When I did my install, I picked Pro W11 via business. I would never had I known it has BitLocker. And licensing is volume. You can turn off BitLocker via rufus which I did, and the licensing doesn't make any difference. But then again when I read comments like this, like I said it makes me question my choice.
BitLocker, if not disabled in advance via unattend.xml-type automation, is easily disabled with a command like: Code: manage-bde X: -off Where X: is the respective partition you want to disable BL for. Or you could just do that in the Settings menu.
@BaffledSoftware could you please run Code: manage-bde -status in elevated cmd or powershell and show the output??
