do we have an enablement package to go from 26100 to 26200 without subscribing to dev channel, or i need to clean install it
Yes you can install the enablement package to upgrade to 26200 builds, but you will need to enrol in the dev channel to receive future builds and install the latest Dev LCU. Plus it's not recommended to mix Retail build with any of the Release Preview, Beta and Dev LCU's as this could lead to stability issues.
That horrible white flash has come back today, somethings been pushed to the system, now explorer opens with white flash. 24h2 beta possibly windows app runtime, it was updated
i noticed the shelloverlay registry keys vanished right before this started. I restored system and backed up the keys. I think this is could be the cause for the white flash, i don't know what is deleting them. the only changes to my system are an edge update (which i havent installed yet) and the app runtime Ok even though keys are restored the flash comes back after rebooting, so i have no clue what microsoft have pushed today
not sure but here in uninstall the widget crap from the taskbar and no more white flashes very odd winget uninstall "windows web experience pack"
not sure if I be going off the topic here, since next build will be 26200.xxx of 25/h2 not much interesting in changes - I plan on going to LTSC not much using Win 11 Professional I use a local account always anyway only thing is calculator, and calendar is useful then I can use my mobile phone for that that
It's perfectly understandable. The new Notepad (with formatting) could be good if the app was faster and snappy, but after adding Copilot, it feels slow. The old Notepad (from Win10) opens instantly, but this "new" one takes like a half second.
I still use the one from Windows 10 (without tabs) with 24h2, it suits me very well. And I don't like the sort of "mica" (or other) on the title bar instead of the accent color.
I'm soon to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c laptop! If you need help to test things on arm64 hardware and Windows, I can help you I think it comes preinstalled with W10 Pro v2004 ARM and it's upgradeable to W11 officially (in ARM 11 is way better than 10)
so many rumor over the net me curious is todays update going to be a big change and improvements ever since build .1742?
