Today? You mean Tomorrow, the P.T?
And BTW, what're the rumours you're talking about?

Since the official release of 26100.1742.1.10 you need both updates to be present or installed after each other.

Really? Until now they haven't fix the White Flash??? Wow... Of course we all see the horrible rendering when a new window of the "New" File Explorer is open (the title bar is seen empty for a half-second, before all is drawn).

And they said that they "RE-INVENT" the Start menu :biggrin3: ... In these last days I read a lot of Sub-Reddit topics about "Windows vs Linux", "Linux pro and cons", "Windows pro and cons". It's kind of confusing because almost all people said something like: "This OS is much easier, faster, better, doesn't have nasty bugs, have beautiful UX/UI; while the other OS is simply disgusting" ... Oh, and the classic phrase: "I installed [Win/Linux] and never looked back" :roll1:

They have a lot of mixed opinions, and I'm really confused. I will flash some Linux distro in a USB Flash Drive, and I will test it for some hours....

It was fixed until a week or so ago. Raised its ugly head to match the ugly startmenu :1eye::doh:

I always wonder why a Big Corp like Microsoft does all this stupidity across the years. They made a big mistake with WinVista (2007), then Win8.0 (2012), and now Win11 (2021).
It's like they have a sick necessity to create nasty and horrible versions once every decade.

You use Win11 in an "unsupported" hardware??? Because since the end of April 2025, I'm using Win11 IoT Enterprise (Non-LTSC) v24H2, because of the FU€K1NG Autodesk  that doesn't want to support Windows 10 in 2026 in Fusion (CAD/CAM engineering app).
But sincerely, I'm very tired of all of this injustice of Big Corps that they want people to do what they (Big Brothers) wants. They think they can tell the people to throw away functional computers only because they want.

I will migrate again to Win10 v22H2 in the next months, but as I said before, maybe I go to Linux (Ubuntu or Fedora) sooner than later.

You know?? I was 12 when WinVista came out, I really like the design and colors. I went many times to Computer store only to see and enjoy the beauty of that OS.
    In 2009, I got a new PC and I installed Win7, and I enjoyed a lot.

The problem is not make a mistake, is make the same mistakes through the years. Currently, a lot of people (on Reddit) said: "I will wait to Windows 12" ... Really? Don't you see this Sick and Never-ending Circle??? Microsoft will never change, it will be doing the same sh1t every time.

Let's hope tomorrow, the Win11 v24H2 updates won't explode the system, while MS said: "Let's celebrate the New Feature!!!"

You're welcome, if you want more stories about my adventures, just tell me :surfing:

Good words, but I admit maybe we can have "peace" in another OS (you know, the "penguin")... It's very sad to see the truly intentions of Microsoft, even it seems that they enjoy to cause suffering to their own customers. They simply cannot do things well, they have an objective to create a half-coded, buggy, slow, and restricted system.
And before someone says: "But on my Intel 14th Gen, Win11 runs perfect", please don't lie yourself, you know very well that even an Intel 3rd Gen (like mine) runs Win8.1 or Win10 faster than that last generation CPU on Win11.
Even with the power of a 2025 CPU, Win11 File Explorer and general performance is simply unacceptable. They are laughing in our faces.

Microsoft schedules the release of security updates on "Patch Tuesday," the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 AM PST. you have to wait if you want that update.
