removed original, though that there was a new preview build but the build number was lower than yesterday CU.
I saw it too around 7pm local time (the usual windows/updates release time) but it was retail channel and older + arm64 only.
After the August 2025 update, on my machines, appeared CE mark/logo where is the "about" page, under Windows Specifications category. I guess that is because Settings app update. Someone have noticed if different regulatory marks appears after the update?? Examples are: FCC, UL, Anatel, and etc...
Yesterday was patch tuesday, msft didn't release it yesterday? I see they only released the arm64 cumulative version yesterday, not my thingy.
Same here, learned from experience that CU error can't be solved, despite all workarounds, it never worked for me in any case/way, so I suggest people to reinstall or clean install.
I've had extremely good luck with upgrade installs to resolve broken WU. The only installs I've 'lost' since Windows 10 were ones where I couldn't get to the desktop. I really miss the Windows XP days where you could 'save' an unbootable system by repairing from boot media. That was pretty awesome.
By 'upgrade installs to resolve broken WU', If you mean in-place upgrade that's what I actually referred as 'reinstall' in my earlier post.
