yes your right thanks oh well see if my system can remain perfect, I like 25/h2 seems many bugs were fix including the one in MS apps help about clicking their license agreement pops right up no need the use the ALT key anymore

Yep, exact same situation here. Fresh Win 11 26100.4946 (English en-us) with French (Azerty legacy) keyboard (only), and the damn Language icon (English/French + English/US) appears upon launching Notepad. I have also experienced it showing up on another occasion (not running notepad), but can't tell exactly what triggered it. So... not sure whether it's entirely Notepad's fault, or if there's something strange at the OS level too.

 

I recovered notepad.exe before the last maj and there I do not have this error

 

What ever the unwanted keyboards language is, install the language and addons then remove them

 

I restored my system with a backup made August 12

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's Dynamic Theme Installer.exe (from store) causing this problem for me.

for the moment without launching this program it works

 

experiencing the same here,
when Notepad launches, the KB layout appears in the taskbar and remains persistent till log-off/reboot.

are this features removed by default in system/optional features.?? on latest New Win 11 24H2 MVS ISOs (August 2025 updated) 26100.4946
because using the media creation tool iso there is a list of optional features.
but on New Win 11 24H2 MVS ISOs (August 2025 updated) 26100.4946 there is no features there.??

 

OOB from yesterday is just for 23h2, no ?
