Is it reasonable to expect retail release within a few days or am I delusional?

    Want to have it deleted?

Next time, just edit and change text to "Delete" or similar, we will delete it on the fly, then.

Yea but that one got somehow installed...
What do you mean with "my actions"? I did nothing more than what wu suggested.
Can I use the regular, August 24h2 iso from msdn? Do I mount it and do the usual procedure?

There is no matching iso for it, because 4484 is from a preview update. I will try what you mention though, but I'd rather do it with a regular msdn iso like I said above.

The gap between 23H2 preview blog post and retail release was 5 weeks, and that was a similar situation/also just a buildnumber bump/configuration update. So don't expect anything before October.

Yea I was thinking about that too, even used it for a while back then but I don't necessarily dislike new features or be that pissed about if things break since that's the risk you have to take if you want to try out new builds ASAP

My performance was just that horrendous that I'd have been in disbelieve how this went through up to release preview unfixed. Like my fps dropped below 40 on a 4090
But turned out to be something else so all good.

So far nothing to complain about 25H2 but it's not like it would be any noticeable improvement either. It's "just w11" to me. Smooth as it was before.

That's what I want to know when the RTM version of 25h2 comes out and if you are using this preview version, just run the update and it will update without needing to format?

Please read the ISO filename and the info about the 25H2 EP being release preview, you can install it but you won't gain anything other then a 26200 instead of 26100 and loose some features like powershell 2.0 and WMIC

It is not expected that 2024 LTSC will eventually get the 25H2 EP offered on WU as it being a (fake) feature upgrade,

However the 25H2 editions won't get any new features (at launch) and even some 24H2 existing features get killed off, all can happen.

Maybe the 25H2 "upgrade" is just a "repair" action to get rid of some old(er) features and to keep their "every year a new release" cadency.

Anyone checked whether the new STRAT is by default enabled/activated after (clean) installing 26200.6584 or not?
    Or still need vivetool CMD?
