It seems task manager has been secretly fixed or the new method has been disabled, i rebooted after a maintenance run.
max usage is now 0.9 , i can't tell if the new process grouping is disabled or not
there is a weird thing going on though, there's 3 instances of task manager in the background plus the one that's in the foreground.
Looks like each time you open the task manager the process isn't being killed on exit, hmmm, maybe not quite so fixed upload_2025-10-28_22-18-40.png
Simple solution is to end task instead of using close

25H2_7019,The Task Manager (Taskmgr.exe) process accumulates, increasing by +1 each time it is opened

I enabled (forcibly) the new Start Menu (because 26200.7019 doesn't enable it), and I like that "recommended" section is finally gone. Also, it shows all the pinned icons, not splitting them by "pages".

The vivetool didn't enforce the new start menu but the following reg pach did the trick :
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\FeatureManagement\Overrides\14]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\FeatureManagement\Overrides\14\156965516]
