[DISCUSSION] Windows 11 Build 26x00 (PC) [24/25H2 Retail- GE-release]

long time bug in the new start menu when installing apps, they don't show up until reboot !

 

Never had that on any build of Windows 11

 

With all these updates rolling out, is Patch Tuesday still a thing?

I have to reset the package sometimes, files get stuck in recommended or they don't show at all.
After resetting ...the startmenu works as expected untill it decides not to again.

 

The update to build 26200.7019 isn't working on my PC.

The update installs and after restarting to complete it gives the BSOD error:
Kernel Security Check Error

Then the system undoes the update and reverts to build 26200.6901....

This is the first time an update has caused a BSOD on this PC.

 

What PC? It's Windows 11 compliant or it use old CPU and patched on install?

 

Asus B150M Pro Gaming, i7-7700 and onboard video.
No TPM 2.0 chip and processor is not supported but the system run fine except in the update .7019.
I run DISM and no errors were found on .6901.

 

Does the new DEV/Beta build still do a full install when going from 26200?

is this a full build? taking ages to download?

 

shiiiiii, i have to do all the fixes and customisation again
pain in the butt because attributes are wrong for ntuser.dat files and in system32/config , they should be marked as system, and windows still doesn't do it after years of builds and releases
