Ive got no keyboard and mouse bug in recovery
So it gets fixed for other people and the people who didn't have the issue now have it.

Seems i have all the bugs from previous CU's, features disabled, no keyboard and mouse in winre,
features were all working until i rebooted

Legacy bootmenu still works so i'm just gonna stick with that.

Anyone that needs to enter winre can use a usb with a previous image on it

 

After installing 7051, on the second restart, the app icons from the store don't appear in the taskbar. Only a blank box appears. And this only happens with the store icons.

 

Its buggy to say the least, seems they forgot to add the previous fixes in this image.

 

Fixed... but the MS guys have me "happy"

Has anyone tried injecting the usb drivers in mount winre and committing?
Maybe enthusiast can test this and provide the instruction?

 

@Enthousiast in the end i formatted using the .6901 ISO and after that the update installed without problems.

I have no idea why it was having trouble installing before...

I tried sfc /scannow, all the DISM options and Windows Update to solve the error 0x800F0845.

Nothing worked.

It only solved the problem after formatting...

Vbscript has been deprecated, someone please tell epic games. I had to install vbscript from optional features to re install the launcher

Somewhat related, but I had a similar thing last week, where I tried to do system restore and was stuck in a loop with stop code 0xc000021a. And I tried to undo the system restore (was stuck in another loop), I tried cmd, iso repair, all kinds of stuff and nothing worked, so I had to reinstall the whole system.

 

The latest version of the Epic Games Installer never works.

It always gives an installation error.

To avoid this i install version 15.17.1 of the Epic Installer.

This version installs normally and then updates itself to the latest version.

 

sorry guys, first of all thanks you for the good work, i got the waterkey again, can someone help through the process for removing it? I had a batch script automatically starting with os, but not working anymore apprently. Many thanks, will pass it to the next
