But funny that this thing seems to be pretty stable. Maybe this is what we are going to get as the insider build, so they just polished basics like; gui
I like that you can add little quick shortcuts to documents/music etc at the bottom of the start menu Also just realised that the old context menu for the taskbar that was replaced by "Taskbar Settings" can now be found by right clicking the start button itself
The startup sound isn't stored in C:\Windows\Media. It's in "C:\Windows\SystemResources\imageres.dll.mun". You have to open imageres.dll.mun with a resource editor and replace the wav file with this one https //www. mediafire.com/file/91nggvf6mrzqjqd/Start_up.zip/file
Yeah I noticed that earlier and tried it but it just made the icons lower quality, it didn't actually change the size of anything.
I unrar iso files of win 11 in order to replace appraiserres.dll. How to make iso again from extracted files? Which software?
amazingly stable the insider build I was on before upgrading was sluggish and buggy AF. This runs smooth as hell the animations also lend to that smoothness. I i hope the explorer UI gets an overhaul as well that's the main sore thumb once that is fixed most legacy items should use fluent so they will blend more.
They made a new explorer app, it's available in "Windows 10 Team". Trust me, you don't want it. Imagine a file explorer app inspired by the Windows 10 settings design.
