Well, I can say, hella folks are gonna angry if Windows becomes a subscription service cuz they nagged the hell out of consumers to switch from Windows 7/8.
That would be the one thing that would make Linux Desktops more than a Niche. Consumers won't buy computers with a monthly subscription fee.
They won't, people will just get a chromebook or a mac then. Microsoft rather have everyone running Windows and then sell them additional services like Cloud Storage and Office.
Which will lead to prompts (would you like to add your Windows 10 license to you Microsoft account (fee in the fine print)).
Will they not buy with a monthly subscription windows? This is coming from people who wear masks! Everyone will buy - we have no people, only silent sheep who do everything with them!
