It was obvious that there would be no new release today because ........ when has microsoft ever released anything at all without at least months of alphas / betas / dev builds and / or previews ? < ---- Off topic off
Enforcing the The TPM 2.0 requirement is superflous, IMO esp for DIY builders. And any idea whether Android app support will come to AMD PCs? Looks like it needs an Intel Bridge of sorts.
Any new motherboard I have bought in the last couple of years had TPM 2.0 on it. It's a good move forward.
The big question for me is whether Windows 11 will no longer have the consumer experience advertising rubbish that drove me into adopting the Enterprise channel with modifications via NTLite.
So the days of me running windows xp and modern windows together on my 2nd box is over? I use MBR and dont have a TPM chip on it.... (x79-Deluxe motherboard)
For some odd reason, something tells me that they won't necessarily require TPM 2.0 on the RTM build. Either that or they'll enforce it loosely and let people run scripts or modify the ISO to allow for legacy install like what was done with the leaked ISO.
That will be up to @Enthousiast & the guy's to figure out. Will see next week with New Insider Build.
