Theory: The Windows event promo image (the one at Microsoft's site...) is actually Sun Valley's default wallpaper -- it's the new Hero Image. Sun Valley preview builds are going to use that image as a desktop background. I believe that's the case because the image fits perfectly as a desktop background.
I have a feeling we won't be seeing any new dev channel builds until the June 24 event. That's it: Enjoy 21390 for the next 19 days!
Last night I accidentally did a dev channel enrollment on 19043.1023 and it actually upgraded to 21382
According to Zac Bowden it does look and feel similar to this. Yes. There will be a learning curve and I predict many users will hate this new desktop layout. Luckily according to him also, there will be a way to put the start button and menu back on the left side.
This morning someone on twitter actually leaked a screenshot of the new settings app... But of course took it down a few hours later.
