Actually, the freed space not showing up is persisting across any other installed Windows too. So its kind of a problem.
Again, this might be fine after all. If they only have it as a requirement for those kind of features, the base OS should be able to run just fine the way it does now as long as we can get around the installer problem with DISM/etc
So my i7-7700HQ can not run windows 11 while all other things passed ? I hope linux will take over some day so microsoft can die slowly...those rats
If you want to do a 100% out of the box install and MS does not change their mind then no, 10 is as far as you go. There are more than a few ways to bypass this though since there is no actual compatibility issues, its purely artificial. Its like a road sign that says "no blue cars allowed", you can drive right in anyway if you feel like it.
This was a good explanation. At least my car is red I'm running 11 on unsupported hardware just fine.

Well, leaked installed gave me a warning with my 7700k but allowed me to install without weird tricks
PSA: The Feedback Hub is now open for public Insiders on build 21996. No longer throws the "Tented project" warning.
Guys check your BIOS for a setting called: Intel PTT and enable it It will make your pc think you have a TPM 2.0 chip and will allow Windows 11 install!!
