Did you do this by flashing an FFU or build an actual iso? I've had zero luck getting anything more than a freeze immediately (bios background still visible) when selecting it to boot in UEFI. EDIT: MDL official people; Is there any chance we can get a subforum for Factory OS at some point since it is an official, separate and "proper" thing?
I'm starting to sympathise with Microsoft... people have no idea what an early build like this actually is any more, or what things are likely to be forced for testing and changed later. People don't think. "Hey if the icons weren't combined or had labels, the taskbar would be constantly moving buttons around from where you learn them to be every time you open or close something." They see the new shiny and then immediately expect their daily use OS out of it. Or immediately want to remove or disable anything new and different. Entirely missing the point.
If only they had a fix for that already, like pinning to the taskbar. Thatd be neat. Or maybe uncombined or labels existed in windows for DECADES
mrbbq NO . They expect to get something usefull , something updated ....... and not just the same old crap packed in an even worse pile of crap than before . Its a fraud . AGAIN .
But the new taskbar expands and shrinks on both the left and right. It doesn't work the same. The start button for example would be moving several inches to or away from the center, constantly. All of the icons would. That has not been the case "for DECADES".
I honestly don't understand user's this is released to the Dev Channel and Microsoft stated there will be some rough edges and low stability it's far from fraud as stated above if your finding Windows 11 can't be used just rollback to Windows 10.
>I honestly don't understand user's this is released to Dev Channel and Microsoft stated it would have bugs and it far from fraud as stated above if your finding this can't be used rollback to Windows 10. Good that you admit that . Do you seriously belive that the end product will be much different ? ......... and i'm not talking about bugs ...........What have trhey offered us ? Whats new ? Better ? Faster ? Easyer to use ? Takes up less resources ? = Zero ......... its just a cheep and nasty cosmetic shell ......... as eye candy for people that like eye candy ....... with new system requirements ........... trying to make VERY many people buy new computers and hardware .
It seems the end is near for Control Panel. Note below, that now more controls, are showing up in settings and while some had some links, now they have even an icon.
WOW! Coming up Windows 11, I think Microsoft made another stupid foolish to have TPM 1.2, 2.0 nor 2.1 required to every NEW PC maker! WOW, spend more money on hardware, I think need USB TPM 2.0 kit for all major PC that allow emulator TPM 2.0 in order run Windows 11. I would stay on WINDOWS 10 much longer until Microsoft do better way. That is really pissed me off! Again, Good day! ATGPUD2003
If Win11 is nasty eye-candy, then what was Win10? Flintstones OS made by a 4 year old? Win8-10 was just a UI nightmare. Even now with latest Win10 and 11, the min-max-exit buttons are one pathetic step above Windows Server UI. Whatever Win11 will end up looking like, how could it not be better than Win10? I just don't see how Win10 could get any worse (well, Server Workstation I guess).
