I know coleo. But I am just testing it on VM just like I install a game. I am not sure if I ever install it as main OS on PC. The one and only interested thing about win 11 is android app support. I saw a video on youtube today that some guy says m$ is linked with Amazon app store ( I never know that Amazon providing android apps ) to provide win 11 supported android apps through m$ store. That means through win 11 app store, we can access amazon app store and download android apps. But there is a twist in it. There is no android support right now on win 11 betas. And also the guy hinted that it is not possible to provide all android apps from amazon store because google won't allow some apps to be available at other places than google store. And some android apps are not possible to rebuild with wind0wz support. So as i know, the support for android apps on win 11 is limited. We can see what win 11 do in future to satisfy users on this matter.
"Android App Bundle", whatever that is. There is an article on ArsTechnica but I can't post links yet.
Does this work for Windows 'feature' updates through the windows store? My update from the leaked windows 11 build to the normal dev channel windows 11 build failed, with the installer giving a blank page where the reason should have been. I did a uup dump download and installer fix option 2 to get a iso where I can install an in-place upgrade without tpm or supported CPU... My problem could also be related to unsupported intel iGPU (4000 series), where it gets disabled with core isolation turned on, which I have done.
It's actually a good idea on paper. It still uses Apks, but they are custom compiled for the device downloading them, so they will be smaller because they don't contain resources for other devices. I'm confident that Google will find a way to make it worse though.
For those who has a old CPU like me (i5 6500 @4.3) Dont turn on wallpaper to change every X minutes, adds Shutter/freeze in games. The gpu is very unstable with this option turned on.
i just fixed it by installing win11 pro n from uup and the problem was with win11 home anyways thank you mate
Will Microsoft stop Windows 11 updates if they scan computers that are non TPM/CPU Compliant? Might wait for Win 11 to go final.
This is completely unpredictable what Microsoft does. They probably don't even know today what they will do tomorrow. Usually they experiment and then see what comes out.
I don't think so. For example, every time we were thinking they would implement strenuous anti-piracy measures (worth much more to them than TPM compliance), etc., it fizzled out. I think it will be largely OEM partner "requirement," maybe watering down as the months go by to "suggestion."
This build of Windows really doesn't like a second display lol i got no icons on second taskbar and i'm unable to apply a different wallpaper to second screen.
Just use "Actual Multiple Monitors" it fixes all the second monitor issues and optionally can replace also the primary taskbar, allowing to use classic shell or alike.
