Will Microsoft stop Windows 11 updates if they scan computers that are non TPM/CPU Compliant? Might wait for Win 11 to go final.
This is completely unpredictable what Microsoft does. They probably don't even know today what they will do tomorrow. Usually they experiment and then see what comes out.
I don't think so. For example, every time we were thinking they would implement strenuous anti-piracy measures (worth much more to them than TPM compliance), etc., it fizzled out. I think it will be largely OEM partner "requirement," maybe watering down as the months go by to "suggestion."
This build of Windows really doesn't like a second display lol i got no icons on second taskbar and i'm unable to apply a different wallpaper to second screen.
Just use "Actual Multiple Monitors" it fixes all the second monitor issues and optionally can replace also the primary taskbar, allowing to use classic shell or alike.
I installed Windows 11 without joining the dev channel and I received the .65 update while I'm on the stable channel Edit: I replied here by mistake, Why is there no option to delete our posts? Now I look like someone who spams the forum with the same post everywhere
Don't forget to enable TPM 2.0 on the machine's firmware. TPM 2.0 is a mandatory feature in order to be able to install Windows 11 without any modifications.
