Manage to install sandbox feature for first time and it actually took 10 second to run it first time everything here is complicated. MS. also, for some reason, this system eat my SSD memory for example, see this.

Hello I didn't know where to ask this I got the snippingtool.exe file from the Server edition (the same on ltsc iot 2024 ) wanting the classic one, to replace the one in Windows 11 and not have the message "Snipping tool has moved...." It works very well, but the highlighter, etc... is not kept when saving the image for example Do you have any idea ? Thanks
Did you extract snippingtool.exe file from the Server edition with SxSv1 ? or how did you got the snippingtool.exe file ? Is Windows 11 version FoD-Package ? What version & language is snippingtool you now have ?
I just retrieved the snippingtool.exe and dll.mui files in the respective directories and pasted them in the W11 directories I've been doing this since MS removed this version of Snipping Tool in Windows But before, I didn't have this problem Maybe a problem with another associated dll present natively (I'll test on the 23h2, see if I have this problem)
From the guides i have just read online they talk about retrieving snippingtool.exe and dll.mui files from windows 10, but it looks and sounds like you know what you are doing, so i will leave you to it.
Yes that's what I did at first, but there was this famous message 'Snipping Tool has moved..." Which is not present with the Servers or iot 2024 editions Ok thanks, I almost never use this function, when I have time, I will test it better
Also have Windows 11 Enterprise 26000 installed for Ryzen 9000; Recall is enabled by default, and Browserbenchmark seem 100 points lower than on Linux; some way to check if this AMD Patch (supposedly for Gaming, 23H2/22H2 kBwith187) is already applied to the system?= Thanks.
You mean enabled as system component or the feature itself where it regularly saves screenshots of the pc screen activity?
well just notice it let me install the other features that it didn't let me at my first install, WMIC & VBS so it appears they fix it. (after they broke it) it did work well before 24h2 ..
cannot tell if the "feature" is actively screensaving already, since have this instaleld few days and hardly used; now way of veriyfying Recall actively, however, command. Dism /Online /Get-Featureinfo /Featurename:Recall does state "active", although Recall itself does not show up in the list under "Windows features / install or remove"
In Settings app navigate to Privacy & Security > Recall & snapshots. If it is not there or is there but save snapshots option is turned off then it shouldn't be doing anything. Also, I don't think it will appear under the "windows feature install remove" because it is non-removable feature as of now unless forcefully removed using other tools which then will break some explorer features.
provided i use Windows 11 in different language, do not find under "Privacy and Securty" any mention of Recall or thereof, under "Security" there is only "Windows Security (Antivirus, browser, Firewall, network security)" and "Find my device"; then there is a another section "Windows Authorizations" with various sub-sections; but now , maybe found it, under "Chronology" > "Archive the chronology of your activities on this device" (go back directly to what you were doing on your device, by archieving the chronology of your activities, including the informations of the websites your visit and the apps and services you use)= so that should be ReCall? - and it is possible to toggle OFF, so maybe after all, this recall, is only semi-mandatory on newest Windows 11 24h2? thanks
