Based on the filename I think it's the same old ISO. edit: hxxps://archive.org/download/26100-ltsc-x64-enus/26100.1.240331-1435.ge_release_CLIENT_ENTERPRISES_OEM_x64FRE_en-us.iso
That most likely is the same ISO, will check. EDIT: checked and it is the same ISO: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...24h2-dev-ge-release.88220/page-2#post-1830987
Actually i don't know. Without this package the UI doesn't show so there is no direct way to manage defender settings/scan. I think they should add a serious cli interface if someone don't want to install these UWP UI components...
is the full release on 26100.712? there's a 'lite' version floating around on a cn forum link here: <removed>
1. It is NOT allowed to share homebrew ISOs. 2. 26100.712 is RELEASE PREVIEW. 3. The full release. you mean the IP TB ISOs released yesterday? That is 26100.560.
Update: Embedded OEM has now been updated with 12 new 24H2 ISOs, however only the IoT Enterprise CBB version has been placed on there, not the LTSC one.
Thank you for your answer. Would you kindly elaborate on what you mean? should I use the insider betaand upgrade?
they mean to download the retail ISO that was linked in that post and just proceed to receive regular updates on it
I got it but as far as I understood every LTSC-lover is looking for freshest ISO - 26100.560 I just wanted to say that is not necessary...
Correct, I just would like to note one more time you don"t need to update OS after installation, it will be self-updating right during installation. And during updating process you can play the game called Waves (as far as I remember) right on installation screen.
Afaik it doesn't do full updates anymore during oobe, that was with 22000 but after it never happened, only OOBE updates. They are looking for any officially released public LTSC isos, deltabuild is not the problem here.
convert evaluation to full version of LTSC github.com/victorlish/Convert_to_Windows_10_LTSC LTSC 2024 same as LTSC 2021
Not long ago I was installing Win 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 from leaked ISO on high speed USB stick ORICO as Windows To Go. OS self-updated during installation as I described above and as a result after installation I got 26100.560 Yes, there were normal updates via WU but only .NET Framework and some security updates... nothing else...
Okay I installed the IoT LTSC EVAL ISO and just noticed that the Windows Defender Security Center is not there. The system tray icon just opens a popup that says to Get an app to open this 'windowsdefender' link. Just wanted to know if this is intentional for this build or there is a problem on my end? EDIT: Confirmed! It's an oversight from Microsoft's side. Windows Defender is there and working but there is no UI to manage the settings.
