Actually I prefer few editions of Windows, but more solid and well polished, but I think that this time is gone, like you say: "The Internet Of Things hype is a bit under the weather, so to speak" @Enthousiast
I would like to slip in those licenses when for example I'm updating a LTSC iso with W10UI, but without adding in the appx aswell. If I need any inbox app after installing Windows, I would grab an updated version from rg-adguard and install it with pwsh. But what I noticed is that they won't launch if the license isn't provided with -LicensePath . And I wanted to skip this step and have the licenses installed already.
You can try copy files from non LTSC 24H2 install.wim to LTSC install.wim Code: \ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\ClipSVC\Install\Apps\ you can use the file from inbox iso, but you must rename them to match app PFN
Should I use Windows 11 IoT Enterprise Subscription LTSC instead of IoT Enterprise LTSC so that I can use abbodi tool instead of HWID and nothing is stored on M$ servers?
@Bersekz Her are some differences, hope will help you make a decision. Non-subscription LTSC: Receives 5 years of support and updates. Subscription LTSC: Receives 10 years of support and updates, aligning with the Fixed Lifecycle Policy. Non-subscription LTSC: Has a fixed set of features and applications, with limited customization options. Subscription LTSC: Allows for more customization options. Non-subscription LTSC: Has Windows Copilot enabled by default. Subscription LTSC: Has Windows Copilot disabled in product policy. Non-subscription LTSC: Supports KMS (Key Management Service) licensing. Subscription LTSC: Supports both Digital License (HWID) and KMS licensing.
Ok, but that doesn't answer my original question. Btw, both IoT versions receive 10 years of updates:
Meh tried windows 11 24H2 again & my AMD Ryzen 3250U is still hitting 90c & close to it's shut off point (which is supposedly 95C). Just going to stick with windows 11 23h2 since it has updates until 2026 if I still have this laptop by then will try 24H2 & hope the issue is fixed. If not then eh just going to use an outdated windows 11 23h2 truthfully. I mean I know there's windows 10 ltsc but eh I actually like windows 11 over windows 10 but eh still clearly there's an issue with amd ryzen cpu's that Microsoft isn't addressing or possibly not acknowledging based on previous posts throughout this thread.
Has anyone ever seen the Desktop Spotlight feature on IoT LTSC work properly? At least in my memory, I've never seen it work.
None of my old uploads work anymore, the host went crazy and now on their new servers the links are made 10day temp, the Massgrave ISO links still work.
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1854460 Renewed the buzzheavier links, for now, i am looking for a better host, pixeldrain links are still working fine!!!
