Thanks for the help. I was able to download the said KB, but during installation, I got this error 'Installer encountered an error 0x800f0838'. I wish to know what this KB do? Could I ignore it or keep trying. Thanks
Here are all updates published and linked; https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1830860 You need to install both updates listed under LCU in the overview (kb5043080 - 26100.1742.1.10 first and next kb5053598 - 26100.3476.1.12).
Hi, I tried to install kb5043080 but it won't install. Error 'only one instance is allowed'. Reason: Windows Update was STILL in the 'RETRY'' state with kb5053598 (which failed to install with error code 0x800f081f). I tried to cancel the 'RETRY' state by enabling 'PAUSE UPDATE FOR 7 DAYS' then tried kb5043080 again. It still won't install. No error code. Background: my laptop was running great for a long time. Few days ago, it had a printing problem. After many hours trouble shooting, I gave up and did a RECOVERY. The recovery with option [download] did not work. Option [local] worked. After the recovery, windows update ran and installed a few kb5050577, kb4052623, kb2267602 and kb890830. Please help if you, or anybody, have times. Thanks
I tried not to. Finally I identified the culprit. After removing the Lenovo TB4, all is well. KB5053656 auto downloaded, installed and system now is at 26100.3624.
Hi Gents, I'm now thinking it's time to try to upgrade to Windows 11 Enterprise IoT LTSC 2024 on my MSI GP60 2PE / MS-16GH Laptop. In it's day a relatively decent machine, and I still use it, so I don't want to recycle it just yet. I just noticed the command line I used above used /d IoTEnterpriseS /f when I did this using the Windows 10 version on an Asus Laptop. I'm a bit confused that the "IoTEnterpriseS" would install a different version than "IoTEnterprise". I don't want to mess this up, so should I change to "IoTEnterprise" for the en-us_windows_11_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2024_x64_dvd_f6b14814.iso ? Or am I just concerned over nothing? As always, thanks for the assist.
Hello, Iot have the variant SUBSCRIPTION, that, in my point of view is WORTHLESS... I recommend you to pay attention on the details.
"The Windows Biometric Service successfully created a Biometric Unit for sensor: Analog NUI Voice Virtual Sensor (\Voice\Virtual Sensors\{F25AB4A2-593A-4A89-B9FF-8144BEA81E15}) The sensor's mode is "Basic," its pool-type is "System," and it's isolated in a "Local System" process. See the "Details" pane for additional information about the sensor's new configuration." I found this in Event Viewer. Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 24H2. I turned off everything I knew about Windows spying but it's still there.

To save time, I made 26100.5510 as my checkpoint. It only installed 26100.1742+26100.5510 and then uninstalled SSU. IoTEnterpriseS. SenseClientFod Removed. 26100.5510→setup.exe→26200.5516→WU downloaded and installed 26100.1742+26100.5516 again, causing severe lag. 26200.5516→EKB Removed→26100.5516→SenseClientFod Removed→setup.exe→26100.5518→WU did nothing. Although it may sound a bit silly, upgrading to a version that WU does not have can avoid reinstalling LCU and some misbehaving Fod.
