    Still no success here.
    Code:
'wimlib-imagex' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.

For win 11 ISOs I create the install.esd and next split the install.esd when it is >4GB.

Only for win 10 i only split the install.wim if the install.esd is >4GB.

Nice it did work out for you:)

Just a shot in the dark, did you try it with a generic ei,cfg inserted?

    Code:
    [Channel]
    _Default
    [VL]
    0

I am curious, is there anything of note when it comes to performance differences. I think it took longer to have a low cpu utilization with 11 than with 10 after the install. I read that disabling "Prohibit apps from running in the background" would also help but interestingly, I can not "enable" this option on iot 11, no problem on my regular 11 though...

Will make a lot of handy automation undone and you need to do the tasks manually when needed, many don't like the outcome.

People should stop wanting to run the modern OS on ancient hardware, that's what 2019 and 2021 LTSC are for and normal win 10 pro and up with ESU (3 more years of updates).

One reason I am asking, my dad's PC needs an OS-upgrade and his bank-site likes to "warn" about stuff. So maybe running win11 IoT will be more silent, if you know, what I mean.

Side-rant on Win11 IoT, right-clicking on symbols on my desktop is crashing stuff.

If all those features and such are not appreciated anyway then just go with IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC.
