I installed windows_11_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2024 on hyper v and installed my programs and office then i used sysprep to make image iso for later installation but when i setup again it can't be setup
Just a shot in the dark, did you try it with a generic ei,cfg inserted? Code: [Channel] _Default [VL] 0
I am curious, is there anything of note when it comes to performance differences. I think it took longer to have a low cpu utilization with 11 than with 10 after the install. I read that disabling "Prohibit apps from running in the background" would also help but interestingly, I can not "enable" this option on iot 11, no problem on my regular 11 though...
Will make a lot of handy automation undone and you need to do the tasks manually when needed, many don't like the outcome. People should stop wanting to run the modern OS on ancient hardware, that's what 2019 and 2021 LTSC are for and normal win 10 pro and up with ESU (3 more years of updates).
One reason I am asking, my dad's PC needs an OS-upgrade and his bank-site likes to "warn" about stuff. So maybe running win11 IoT will be more silent, if you know, what I mean. Side-rant on Win11 IoT, right-clicking on symbols on my desktop is crashing stuff.
If all those features and such are not appreciated anyway then just go with IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC.
Damn, can it be, that win11 iot (or 11 in general) goes to sleep, even if something is using the disk. I have a hard time to make a backup onto this machine via SMB. This all reminds me of the beginning of Win11 or maybe the present.
That machine is only waked for being a backup-target. I was a fool for installing Win11 on that, will go to Win10 IoT ASAP.
We can get the newest editon of win11 iot enterprise from uupdump, how to change win11 iot enterprise to win11 iot ltsc?
Hi, is there a modified Windows 11 or 10 LTSC version in which superfluous parts have been removed and the final size is smaller? Or how to decrease size?
On MDL we only share info and original unmodified ISOs. Compress the install.wim to install.esd Tools: WIM <> ESD or full ISO creation: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/win-iso-wim-esd-swm-handling-tool.78925/ You will shave 30-33% of of the total filesize.
Hi, does this version of Windows 24H2 LTSC support Bluetooth LE Audio? I have Bluetooth 5.4 but I don't see an option in the Bluetooth settings: Use LE Audio when available Are there any known methods how to enable support?
