Hi all, resuming after a while. Want to install 11 LTSC on a 12th gen laptop, how to get the ISO with latest updates created? It is similar to W10 LTSC using W10UI?

Yep, download the 24H2 updates, put them next to the W10UI script and mount the source ISO (or extract it to a folder called "Work" (example, just keep it short) and point the script to the folder, settings can be done by ini or directly in the W10UI script and some settings can be set in the GUI after starting the W10UI script.

So then it is normal to have these 2 reclaimable packages? I just want to be sure a haven't done anything wrong during the W10UI integration phase

    Thanks

When i run it on my 2021 LTSC install i get this:

    Code:
    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19044.6159]
    (c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\Windows\system32>DISM.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.19041.3636

    Image Version: 10.0.19044.6159

    [==========================100.0%==========================]

    Component Store (WinSxS) information:

Windows Explorer Reported Size of Component Store : 7.59 GB

Actual Size of Component Store : 7.57 GB

Shared with Windows : 5.89 GB
Backups and Disabled Features : 1.67 GB
Cache and Temporary Data : 0 bytes

    Date of Last Cleanup : 2025-07-26 00:33:40

Number of Reclaimable Packages : 0
Component Store Cleanup Recommended : No

    The operation completed successfully.

    C:\Windows\system32>

But on 24H2 windows needs certain files to be left alone for future updates else they can get problems when installing.

I will test it on a 2024 LTSC VMWare install but i assume there no real need to clean up every bit and byte.

Thank you for your time, I agree that trying to clean too much only brings problems with Windows Update; I used to clean and remove things in the past and it always ended in problems, now I just want an updated ISO of the cleaner IoT LTSC, and not having problems in the future.

say, 1st win 11 install and looking for a recommendation.. is the consumer vs business or anything like that of importance ??
thinking 11 pro would be the version recommended ?? does this seem correct ??
familiar with MAS and others... just since 11 is new to me, looking to make the right install...

    thanks for your time...

I prefer LTSC because I don't like Store apps, otherwise you can go for Enterprise or Education

Please don't ask the same question in multiple threads, your question is about consumer or business, LTSC is not a part of any of the two, it is totally seperately released.
