    Double/Cross post on purpose:

The RP 25H2 EP now is Preview, so it is kinda public and still applies to LTSC too, considering this probably is not going to be a "feature adding" but "feature removing" (repair) release it probably will be ok for LTSC too.

Iirc brandon leblanc somewhere said that new features were postponed.

ADDITION: When you want to know for sure you could wait and see if something official will be announced for 2024 LTSC or what happens on WU!!!

The support page only mentions "Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024" and not 24H2 or 25H2, so I think any officially supported build (including 25H2/26200) will be supported until 2034.

@Ulti P. Uszer grab the .cab from uup dump. Search for 26200 amd64, pull up the !updates on a current build and just download the ~23KB Windows11.0-KB5054156-x64.cab file.

I am informed that we'll get a new one very soon, let's wait and see what changed in that new one.

    That"s what AI says:
Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 2024 refers to the Long-Term Servicing Channel version of Windows 11, based on the 24H2 codebase, designed for special-purpose devices and environments prioritizing stability over new features. While it uses the 24H2 foundation, it will receive the features of Windows 11, version 25H2 via an enablement package (eKB) in the future, maintaining a static feature set for a prolonged support period.
    Key Characteristics:
Static Feature Set: LTSC editions provide a stable, unchanging feature set for a specific period, ideal for devices with long service lives where operational consistency is more important than the latest innovations.
Version 24H2 Base: Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 2024 is built upon the Windows 11, version 24H2 operating system, which is the 2024 annual feature update.
Future-Proofed with 25H2 Features: The LTSC 2024 version will eventually gain the features planned for the 25H2 update, delivered through an enablement package. This allows for a consistent codebase and more efficient delivery of features.
Long-Term Support: This edition receives quality updates for an extended period, providing a stable platform for specialized hardware and environments.
Reduced Disruption: By not receiving continuous feature updates, LTSC minimizes disruptive changes to the user interface or system behavior.
    Relationship to 24H2 and 25H2
24H2 Foundation: When the LTSC 2024 version is released, it will be based on the 24H2 codebase.
25H2 Enablement: Later, the features of 25H2 will be delivered to the LTSC 2024 version through an enablement package, which activates existing feature code.
Shared Servicing Branch: Because 24H2 and 25H2 share the same servicing branch, the LTSC version benefits from the same code and servicing pipeline.

    Should I trust AI?
