Thank You @EPRob, @Tito for the switching tip and the key. Most appreciated. P.S. It was an Asus A14 at heavy discount. The laptop is fine, but not accepting any of the 3 Brother printers we have. Finally, we just returned it.
All info mentiomed above can be found here: How to online upgrade from Home > Pro (or any other SKU) by using the generic HWID/gVLK key: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...other-higher-sku-and-license-switching.85294/
I decided to try out 24h2 iot ltsc again tonight & finally after like a year & a half my laptop is no longer overheating while using it. Last time I tried it was in March or April of this year still had heating issues try it now & all is good. So, I am guessing somewhere between April & now whatever was causing the overheating issues got fixed. All I can say is it's about time. Probably going to stick with this now for the foreseeable future unless the heating issues pop back up for whatever reason.
How can I undo changes made by the command to remove telemetry packages from the system through optional features?
I see the OOB updates are no longer included in the updates overview. I couldn't find info from MS if they were superseded or not needed anymore? Cheers.
Were they ever in any MSFT overview? Considering MSFT never put them on catalog too. Last time it was still offered during 24H2 OOBE but not on 25H2 OOBE. Will test on VMware on my second pc. EDIT: 25H2 doesn't get OOBE updates offered.
Thanks, it is indeed a 24H2 IoT LTSC ISO that I maintain. I meant that you used to include them in your monthly updates overview. Specifically, windows11.0-KB5050575-x64 and Windows11.0-KB5059093-x64. Both address different parts of OOBE. Cheers.
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1830860 @Supern00b they still are in the overview^^^ Going to test on 24H2 and 25H2 asap.
