Use W10UI I am working on a tutorial for all of these online/offline integrations. EDIT: The Win 11 26x00 Updates Overview is updated with some extra online/offline updates pointers and the W10UI offline ISO updates integration info + gif is added!!! https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1830860
I was about to say there's a straightforward explanation in that very same post, just further down, but ninja enthusiast posted before me.
That was in the Win 10 Updates Overview, i now added similar info to the 26x00 overview, still working on online integration GiF
Hi, I'm trying to create a bootable USB stick with Rufus for Windows 11 IoT LTSC 2024 to format an older PC with a UEFI BIOS. Everything works fine with a 3.0 USB stick (The pen drive it works on is a SanDisk Ultra 3.0 16 GB), but with a 3.x > 16 gb, it isn't detected during installation, but they are visible in Windows. Can anyone tell me why?
Disk drive not detected ? => inject driver on iso or change from raid to ahci ( if you have laptop like dell or lenovo or hp )
I'm sorry, but how do I add a language pack to Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 in offline fashion? I did see that abboddi made a list that was linked in the beginning of this thread, but I don't know where to get the files. Please help. EDIT: Never mind, I found it. EDIT: No, I didn't. I found an ISO that seems to have all the language packs, but I don't know which one is it.
W10MUI has all links to the needed files and will offline update your ISO, best to use the 26100.1 en-US ISO, updated ISOs can give problems with the languages added.
Can the Windows11.0-kb5054156-x64 File Be installed on Windows 11 EnterpriseS LTSC 2024 Version 24H2? To Convert to 25H2
Hello, from your experience, would you say that Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC is on par with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC privacy-wise? I have upgraded my Windows 10 Pro installation to 10 IoT LTSC over a year ago and am very pleased. But I have a newer laptop that has Windows 11 Home installed - so will I be fine if I upgrade it to 11 IoT LTSC, or should I install 10 IoT LTSC anew rather? I just want the same privacy, local account, no bloat, no AI, no recall, you know - just a Windows OS without bulls**t. Have no experience with Windows 11 yet. Would updates revert settings on 11 IoT LTSC? Or will I be fine with 11 IoT LTSC, what would you suggest, how is your experience? Thank you!
Of course, MS Office has its own spell checkers. IMHO, it is enough to install the Basic Language Package (Basic). It is possible that the Basic en-US package is already installed in your System. These language packs are intended for the First (old) release of Windows 24H2 (26100.1) If you install these language packs on another, newer release of Windows 24H2, for example 26100.1742, then(maybe) you will have incompatibility errors when installing Updates. More detailed: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...retail-ge-release.88220/page-286#post-1907659 If you install the language packs online, then you probably won't have these "update issues", because during online installation you will be offered the current version of the language pack, which will correspond to the release version of your System.
Not sure about the technical stuffs running in the background for privacy, but Win 11 IoT LTSC is as minimal as Win 10 IoT it comes with zero bloat, it could even make more sense for a modern laptop as it handles the task scheduling for modern CPUs much better, which gives you better optimization and battery life.
Thank you for replying. I'm more interested in IoT LTSC 10 vs IoT LTSC 11 privacy-wise though. Is it the same / simiar, or does it differ a lot?
