@Enthousiast, I agree with you, and I know I saw from @Windows_Addict post.. That why I mention to use Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LSTC 2024 for now... But Whatever chances will comes up MAS 2.xx fix the problems with Windows 11 Enterprise LSTC 2024 soon... Again, looks both as same, Just 2 different licenses.. ATGPUD2003
Maybe... Someone here posted your link and asked question: if it"s official ISO or not. I answered him: no, it could not be considered as an official ISO "coz AFAIK official release was planned on september this year. Was my answer incorrect?
Patched 26100.2 to .268, to "don't try this at home" beta patch .470, to .560, to beta .670, to .712...and all's well. ................................................................Logs have checked out, delta updates being performed, no errors of import. Remind me why I'm supposed to fear beta patches with no enablement right now? And how exactly some came to the conclusion beta and RP aren't on the same code base? It's simple for development to have 1 main branch, with 2 release cadences; "pre-/release." Documentation and my logs suggest this is happening.
Found something interesting. Apparently, Recall is installed with IOT LTSC, but it is hidden and cannot be executed currently. The package name for Recall is called "MicrosoftWindows.Client.AIX_cw5n1h2txyewy".
I think I might remember a release or two that included an extra patch in the official public isos, but for the most part what gets released to oems is the build. If this is what they signed off on, it's fair to say that's what they're sticking with as the build.
That's a nice thread you got going there, I'm sure it will answer most members questions. Unfortunately, it still didn't answer mine. At one point IoT Enterprise and Enterprise builds were identical as far as included features, the only difference being the licensing, but that seems to have changed at some point. What year/build did that change and what all changed exactly? For example, below is a quote from the Windows 10 editions Wikipedia article. Note the two sentences that I've highlighted...
Iot enterprise = enterprise not change Iot ltsc = ltsc + 5 years update ( .... if you read ltsc 2021 and 2024 ) Iot ltsc vs ltsc / ltsb 2015, 2016, 2019 not difference..
