They only did that when they screwed up the initial first release of 2019 LTSC (17763.1, possible lost of personal files in upgrade scenarios) and next with the second official release (17663.107, lacking N editions) to finally release a refresh ISO for it 17663.316.
Has anyone tested long-term stability and update behavior on IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 (26100.x) compared to regular Enterprise LTSC? Especially curious if cumulative updates remain fully aligned over time or if IoT diverges in servicing stack or feature backports. Also, any real-world feedback on Store reinstallation via wsreset -i—does it persist after major updates?
Both Enterprise LTSC 2024 and IoTEnterprise LTSC 2024 are essentially the same, you can simply switch by entering the corresponding product key. They take the very same updates. The only differences are in activated features via Product Policies and the legal support period. The second question is entirely moot, as there will be NO major upgrades, that's the whole point of the LTSC branch.
Latest KB5083769 gives me error 0x800736b3 on my Win11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 ARM64 installation. I've tried everything with no avail. No issues on Win11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 x64 on my Desktop. EDIT: I had to do an in-place repair upgrade using the same W11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 (ARM64) ISO and all is fine now.
I've just run into my 2nd glitch on this image. I have installed a few Apps to make the OS workable day to day as my Main Box. I am moving slowly so if there's an issue I can find out what's causing it, rather than layer 14 things on top, and just be guessing. One of the Apps was Microsoft Store. A couple times when I'm downloading something using Rapidgator (or similar) a window pops up with the Microsoft Store starting to run. It never gets there but I have no clue as to what triggered it in the first place. Do you have any suggestions? On a separate item => I have the old version of Paint installed to stay away from the AI imbedded new version, but I miss being able to go from one image file to another inside Windows Explorer. Do you know of an App that would fit the bill? As always, thanks for the assist.

Hello everyone. Running dism I just integrated the following WUs, which result correctly installed in "systeminfo": 3 Hotfix(s) Installed. [01]: KB5082420 [02]: KB5083769 [03]: KB5088467 into "en-us_windows_11_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2024_x64_dvd_f6b14814.iso", running dism, and performing an in-place upgrade from Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC, which was successful. The only issue I've noticed so far is that if I run Windows Update, it offers the same updates already successfully integrated running dism. I tried resetting the WU cache (by deleting the "SoftwareDistribution" folder) and more, but that didn't fix the above. Any suggestions?
Hi, I have a laptop that has Windows 11 Home (OEM, updated to the latest version) and would like to upgrade it to Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 (keeping files and apps). I've read the notes on how to do it, but would like to ask if anyone has maybe the ISO with the latest updates on hand, so that I would just download it, instead of making it myself... Thank you in advance!
It's not an exotic version, only some different features and very much like Enterprise. And it is just a license switch away from pro, enterprise, profws, pro-edu.
Try the ediitonid trick: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/upgradematrix-xml-fix-tool-very-beta.88518/#post-1846462 (change the editionid to IoTEnterpriseS) or use the full upgradematrix fix tool: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/upgradematrix-xml-fix-tool-very-beta.88518/
Thank you, I can do it the way it's written in the MG notes, create my own updated version of Enterprise LTSC, but I'm just asking if anyone has already done this not too long ago and still has the updated ISO to share.
Thank you so much! So this is the Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 ISO, but with the latest updates? It should make it possible to update from Win11 Home and keeping files and apps. Much appreciated!
Yep, it has the latest April update. As Enthousiast said, edit editionid then it should be ready to go.
