Damn you, microsoft. How can you install preview update on my os in the retail channel 24h2 iot eterprise ltsc?
KB5037850 is Preview. Everything"s OK, don"t worry... https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-2024-24h2-26100-x.88280/page-13#post-1837414
Yeah it's strange. I had the same experience. I just clicked the "I don't have a key" button and selected IoT image. But the odd part is that so many people have been talking about converting normal LTSC to IoT. It doesn't make sense when the IoT is already on the ISO. Maybe when people upgrade, they can't upgrade to IoT directly because of the upgrade path nonsense. I personally never try to upgrade my systems.
i dont wanna see any update that starts with "preview" in my main OS, already rolled back without any problem and blocked updates in every possible way.
I really have no idea... I have never tried to remove Edge "coz I was reading somewhere that it"s useless thing and It would come back with new updates.
If seriously, install some Uninstaller like Revo, Uninstall Tool, etc. and try to remove it with but no warranty it won"t be back later with some new updates. How to disable CoPilot Completely: Click Start and search for "gpedit" to open the Group Policy Editor. Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows CoPilot. Double-click Turn off Windows CoPilot. Click Enabled, then Apply, and OK.
