Does anyone know which process or service keeps trying to connect to ecs.office.com ? Office isn't and hasn't been installed.
Onedrive, Settings or just Windows, since it is related to MS365. You can use LiveTcpUdpWatch to monitor.
Thanks. Looks like it's svchost.exe which doesn't tell me much. It's trying to connect every 4 minutes, so I'll check task scheduler next.
Is anyone missing the edit "pencil" icon in the quick settings thing in the notification area? Was trying to remove a few things and it's no longer there. Found something about disabling simple quick actions, but that didnt work.
Please, and for my knowledge. If I am always using the EN-US interface, will the. ISO release for all languages will differ from the already OEM release?
It might have a cumulative patch and possibly a service stack patch but I think it will be the same build. I did notice that it likes to give an explorer error message when shutting down so they'll probably patch that and a few other things. The other language version are just compiled with the appropriate language files and symbols. The MVS version that comes out in a few months will be less bloated than a OEM iso with a language patch installed but it won't be any more or less buggy if that's what you're asking. It's mostly just duplicate winsxs stuff that doesn't really need to exist that won't be present in the specific language versions.
